

Who are we?
We're Matt and Amy, and we're the growers behind Bruntlands Market Garden. We're passionate about growing seasonal food in a way that enhances nature rather than depletes it.
We believe eating seasonally doesn't have to be boring and we're excited to bring you a selection of delicious vegetables that naturally varies through the seasons.
what nature-friendly farming means to us

The soil is our most important resource. We follow the no-dig approach in order to avoid disturbing the soil structure and the soil food web.

Diversity is key; not just in the crops we choose to grow but how we grow them. We look for opportunities to interplant crops and use non crop plants as understories, bringing more diversity for the soil life.

Always keep the soil covered, and filled with living roots! This means living pathways, trying to not leave beds empty, and allowing weeds to co-habit the beds as long as they're not out competing the vegetables.
p.s. we feel like it almost goes without saying, but we never use any chemical pesticides, herbicides or fertilisers.
